Becca Selah is a wonderful designer and an even better colleague, if that makes sense. What I mean is, she designs clean graphics from complex concepts, but on top of that gives 110% to the projects she works on. Becca and I have worked together on a few projects and I hope our partnership continues.
Becca helps startups, nonprofits, and small companies create clean designs and clear content. Previously she worked in online marketing at GNC and a Carnegie Mellon startup before landing at Innovation Works—the nation’s 7th most active early-stage investor—and AlphaLab, its startup accelerator.
I asked Becca to answer a few questions about the work we recently completed together.
Why do you enjoy working with David Primm?
(Becca) David is always looking for ways to make things better, which leads to great discussions, collaborations, and lots of creativity.
Please provide unique examples of how you use research in your business or personal life to solve problems and answer questions?
(B) If working with startups has taught me anything, it’s that great designs are rarely created within a vacuum. You need to do your research with customers and potential customers to make sure your messaging is clear, your designs make sense, and your brand resonates with them. The earlier you do this, the better.
What is your favorite thing about working with clients?
(B) I love learning about problems in different industries and working with others on potential solutions.
